After yesterday’s Free DLC costume drop for Nick All-Star Brawl happened. Which adds 20-new costumes to the game (1-per character), making things a bit easier to tell who’s who if multiple players are playing as the same characters.
It seems that Ludosity have started rolling out the DLC train. As earlier today, it’s been revealed that a new fighter will be making their way into the game.
The reveal is happening this upcoming Tuesday, December 7th via IGN. But we don’t yet know if the character will drop on the same day, or if they’ll just show them off & release them shortly afterward. Kinda like what Smash has done in the past.
Whatever the case may be, this will likely be the last piece of DLC we’ll be getting before the holidays. Which is when a lot of developers take time away from their projects. And we shouldn’t expect anything else to happen until after the New Year begins.

As for who this new character is. Obviously, we don’t know that, and won’t know that until Tuesday. I’m honestly hoping, and I’m probably getting my hopes too high a bit too early considering this is the 1st character + level DLC for the game.
But I just want to see either; Jenny/ XJ-9 from My Life As A Teenage Robot, Jimmy Neutron, El Tigre, T.U.F.F. Puppy or Tak representation in this game. None of that might not happen, at least not yet. As we might get someone like Rocko instead, which isn’t a bad thing because a lot of people like Rocko. Me personally, I haven’t really seen the show to give any sort of thoughts on it.
Either way we look at it though, it’s exciting that the team is finally delivering on their promise of DLC characters (which I’m hoping are also free). Not to mention they announce this right after dropping the costumes update for everyone except Switch users, which will be happening at a later point.
But I’m curious to see what you guys think the next fighter will be? Are you excited, and are you enjoying the recent costume DLC? Be sure to leave everything, down in the comments below!
