Well we got a general idea of who will be making announcements during Gamescom 2019’s opening night on August 19th.
THQ Nordic we already knew would announce something, but we’re still not sure what.
Activision though, that’s a bit more interesting. It could be the upcoming Spyro Grand Prix in Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled or DLC for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. And looking at Crash N-Sane’s Future Tense reveal, which was a few weeks before N-Sane’s multi-platform release. Would seem to line up very well for Spyro too.
Sony will be making an announcement or a reveal of some kind. But as to what? Who knows. As usual I’d expect Sly Cooper or Ratchet & Clank, but I’d try to keep expectations low there.
Sega I’m surprised will be making an announcement, if this is for that new Sonic game that was hinted at back at SXSW 2019 is still yet to be seen. But it is a possibility. All we know is that Sega will have 1-unannounced AAA game there along with 3 announced games.
