Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Nintendo Switch Hints, No Reveal from Nintendo Direct?

So the Spyro Reignited Trilogy Switch port didn’t get revealed during Nintendo’s latest Direct. But before I get to that, I want to go over a few leaks/hints that some fans may have missed.

So the above screenshot of the Spyro The Dragon website, now features an empty box. Which when looking deeper into the site’s code via an inspect tool, there is a series of text involving the blank area “last”. Which is the same text when looking at the PC platform on the Crash Bandicoot website. So this is perhaps a hint for the PC version.

But this isn’t the 1st time the site leaked the other platforms. Remember back in July on the same day as the Spyro SDCC 2018 Panel?

Now a Twitter user by the name of AngrySpace, found a Gamestop Germany listing for the Switch version of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. It even includes a release date for August. The listing has since been removed.

And I don’t even need to mention the Switch port leak from Nintendo UK’s store, back on April 5th when Spyro Reignited was revealed.

Anyways this next one didn’t really include Spyro at first (and still doesn’t involve Spyro) because it was a rumor which was proven correct (and came from a very trustworthy source). It was about the next Nintendo Direct taking place on February 13th (yesterday). And all these Spyro leaks were happening at the same time.

So all those leaks seemed to lead to yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, which was obviously the opposite. Disappointing that Spyro on Switch wasn’t revealed though, but there’s always the next Direct.

Another thing too about the Switch version, as it’ll likely be on the 64GB cartidges that Nintendo is releasing this year. Hopefully all 3 games will fit, no download required. There may still be a patch for bugs and glitches though.

Anyways, What do you guys think about all this? Are you disappointed that Spyro on Switch wasn’t revealed? Be sure to let me know what you think in the comments below.
