Now as many of you might already know that the Sly Cooper TV Series release date was revealed on PGS Entertainments Website. However the release date turned out to be a leak from PGS themselves. After the discovery of the release date, PGS completely removed Sly Cooper from their site. Not only that but the Sly Cooper Dev Maden interview was listed as private on their blog on WordPress. The following day, PGS restored Sly Cooper to the site, but with one major difference. They didn’t fix Bentley’s 3rd arm or the Technicolor misspelling, instead they removed the release date. So obviously they weren’t supposed to reveal that yet. Now it’s likely to assume that they would’ve reveled the date and the network in a trailer at I’m assuming PSX 2018 in December. This would be after the possible network, picks up the show at MipJunior in October. Again Sly 5 could be announced in either October or December with something for the show.
Okay onto the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. First up is a better quality screenshot of Sunny Beach from the 2nd game in the trilogy, Ripto’s Rage. The level of inspiration for the levels seen so far seem to come from either Spyro: A Hero’s Tail or Ratchet & Clank. Anyways it looks great as usual. Plus we got some more Spyro Reignited footage, this time more footage from the first game, including; Artisans, Magic Crafters and Town Square. But in the new footage below we can also see what looks to be a double jump, which was originally a glitch in the 2nd game.
The above video is in Spanish, but you can see the new gameplay at about 3 1/2 minutes into it. If the double jump is utilized in all three games, that could make traversing the environments a lot easier than before. Or it could be a double jump similar to what we seen in later Spyro games like A Hero’s Tail and the Legend Trilogy (now we just need the ledge grab ability).
Okay now onto the Sonic The Hedgehog movie update. So according to several sources, James Marsden was in costume on set for the Sonic Movie. Originally filming began on July 30th, but I guess they started last week instead. I will leave a link to Sonic Stadium’s article on this.
