Pirates of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales releases this Memorial Day

Jack Sparrow returns in the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Pirates 5 plot synopsis: “Captain Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old rival, Armando Salazar, who along with his Spaniard Navy ghost crew has escaped from the Devil’s Triangle, and is determined to kill every pirate at sea. Jack seeks the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas, in order to defeat Salazar.”  Pirates 5 continues after the events of the fourth film (On Stranger Tides), the film ending with Jack and Gibbs discussing how to get the Black Pearl out of a bottle. This film also brings back more characters from the previous four films including; Will Turner, Murtogg, Mulroy, Marty (all of which did not appear in the fourth film), Barbossa, Gibbs, Scrum and more. New characters are also introduced including; Captain Armando Salazar, Henry Turner, Carina Smyth and other characters.                                                                                                                                                                                                         pirates 5 logo              During the Cinemacon screening in March 2017, fans and critics were able to see the movie, early reactions to the film were mostly positive. Most of the reviews mentioned the film was “the best one since the first” or “better than the fourth. Now these reviews are what Disney was expecting because for two reasons; 1. The filmmakers of Pirates 5 cited the first film (The Curse of the Black Pearl) as inspiration for both script and tone of the film, so therefore anyone who liked the first film would like this one.  2. Pirates 4 (On Stranger Tides) was a success at the box office, grossing $1,045,713,802 (which did better than Pirates 3(At World’s End), but not as good as Pirates 2(Dead Man’s Chest)), however got mostly mixed reviews from critics, so after that they would make Pirates 5 an improvement over Pirates 4. Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales releases this Memorial Day.                                                                                                                                           Check back posts on Sonic the Hedgehog and other news and updates on Video Games, Movies and TV.
